Yikes, time has run away from us again. We are already about to head off to finish phase II of production on Eating Up Easter on Easter Island. We are heading down with a team of four this time. The two of us and two cameramen. 
We very excited to be bringing some special toys to try out! By allowing us to get unique angles and heights, we hope they will help capture the context of where we are – on a tiny, rugged island, alone in the middle of the Pacific. 
We have so many posts we want to share, but again are getting overwhelmed with what is in front of us. But, we will update posts as often as we can and share how the production is going. 
We already have had a few mishaps, including a main character who may be unavailable to film the entire time we are there! So, wish us luck in staying on top of the challenges and navigating our way through this! It won’t all be pretty or easy, but I know we can do it. 
And wish us luck on making it through our 43 hour journey there in calm and comfort. Ugh. Not looking forward to that one. But I’ve got a snuggly sweatshirt, slippers, a blanket, a good book, an ipad full of my favorite episodes, popcorn, my favorite travel salad, a new carry on bag I’m super excited to try out, and one other new addition to make flying more comfortable, a fold-up foot stool. Ta’u thinks I’m crazy, but boy am I going to be happy and if I’m a happy traveler, he will be too. 
Happy weekend! For those of you in the cold, stay warm! We will smuggle back sunshine and 70 degrees in our bags for you!
